PASTOR PRAYER TEAM
As leadership of the church goes, so goes the church. That's why it's so important to pray for our spiritual leaders. On the last day of 2006, Pastor Craig Roters preached a message, "The Best New Year's Prayer" (click here to listen to the message). The message was based on Psalm 85 and inspired by James McGrady. James McGrady was a preacher back in the late 1700's in the frontier of Kentucky. He had a small congregation, and was grieved that so few hungered for God. He asked his congregation to pray. To pray for revival, and to pray for him. After over a year of faithful prayer and seeking God, the church grew to over 25,000! Not because he was seeker sensitive, but because he sought God and his congregation prayed for their pastor. That's where the Pastor Prayer Team comes in.
